Welcome to Medical Rescue International.

We provide a 24 hour world wide medical response and rescue service. We also have a wealth of experience in providing medical advice and consultancy services.

Medical Rescue International (MRI) has been operating since 1989 with a particular focus on the maritime sector, providing consultancy, repatriation and Pre Employment Medical Examination services to our Shipping clients.

Additionally we have wide experience of providing assistance to other corporate and private individuals in need.

MRI also provides high quality sporting and event medical and ambulance cover in the UK with properly equipped and staffed frontline ambulances. We also provide for the ground transport and transfer of patients within the UK and Europe. All medical staff engaged by MRI have up to date enhanced CRB clearance and all relevant qualifications are checked. MRI regularly provides training and refresher courses for its personnel.

First Aid training which is compliant with the the (UK) Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 as well as appointed persons and other short courses are available.

Medically supervised drug and alcohol testing is carried out for clients in the shipping, sporting and industrial sectors.

Pre-Employment Medical Examinations (PEME) can be carried out in our own clinic in Berkshire in the UK,  while we provide support to the shipping industry and their P & I insurers to set up and supervise schemes in many  of the countries providing seafarers to the industry.
